UMCB Committees

UMCB’s work is overseen by the UMCB Executive Committee. This committee exists to promote the Welsh language and its culture, encouraging all the members of the university to take part in UMCB and to ensure that all the members get fair support by the Students’ Union, the University and any other relevant outside movements.

Then we have two sub-committees that do more specific work – the Cymric committee and the Intercollegiate Eisteddfod committee.

Each of these committees has a specific membership, but any student can attend any of the meetings to have a say or to see what these committees do.

Pwyllgorau UMCB

Mae gwaith UMCB yn cael ei oruchwylio gan Bwyllgor Gwaith UMCB. Mae’r pwyllgor yma yn bodoli er mwyn hybu’r iaith Gymraeg a’r diwylliant Cymreig, annog holl aelodau’r brifysgol i gymryd rhan yn UMCB ac i sicrhau bod ei aelodau yn cael cynrychiolaeth deg gan Undeb y Myfyrwyr, y Brifysgol ac unrhyw fudiadau allanol perthnasol.

Yna mae gennym 2 is-bwyllgor sy’n gwneud gwaith mwy manwl dros rannau penodol o waith UMCB – Pwyllgor y Cymric a Is-bwyllgor yr Eisteddfod Rhyng-golegol.

Mae gan bob un o’r pwyllgorau yma aelodaeth penodol, ond gall unrhyw fyfyriwr ddod i unrhyw un o’r cyfarfodydd i fynegi barn neu i weld beth mae’r pwyllgorau yma yn gwneud.
