The Constitution is the governing document of the Students’ Union: it sets out the purpose of the organisation, its rules and regulations and its basic operating procedure.
The document is split into three sections; each section explains how it is possible for students to make alterations – the Constitution should be seen as a evolving document, not written in stone.
The Articles provide the legal structure of the SU.
The Bye-Laws provide more detailed operational structure. The bye-laws are a work in progress and will be considered in turn by Senate during the 2011/12 academic year. Bye-laws named in bold text are complete and have been adopted.
The Appendices add in additional information for reference.

Mae’r ddogfen wedi’i rhannu yn dair rhan; mae pob rhan yn esbonio sut mae’n bosib i fyfyrwyr wneud newidiadau iddi – dylai’r Cyfansoddiad gael ei weld fel dogfen sy’n esblygu, yn hytrach na rhywbeth sydd wedi’i osod mewn carreg.
Mae’r Erthyglau yn darparu fframwaith cyfreithiol UM. Mae’r is-ddeddfau’n waith sydd ar ei hanner ac fe gânt eu hystyried yn eu tro gan y Senedd yn ystod y flwyddyn academaidd 2011/12.
